Surf lessons are fantastic exercise and great fun. Here’s a little run through of how we do our Bali surf lessons for all levels.

Canggu Surf Lessons for Beginners

If you are a beginner and want to learn to surf in Canggu, Bali, we start the surf lesson with 15 – 30 minutes instruction on the beach to teach you the basics of surfing so you can practice paddling and popping up while on dry land. We will also run through everything you need to know to be safe in the water while surfing and will talk you through the ocean conditions present on the day.

We will always ensure the surf conditions are suitable for your skill level so you don’t have to worry about being taken out in waves that are too big. We will also do some stretches to get you warmed up and fully ready to hit the waves!

In the water, your surf coach will help you with all aspects of surfing. From perfecting your paddling technique to helping you catch the waves, find the position on the water and improve your surf skills.

Lessons for Intermediate Surfers

If you are intermediate level surfer we start with a quick chat so your surf instructor can understand roughly what level you are at and whether there is anything in particular you would like to improve. We will run through what we can while on dry land then hit the waves for the lesson.[/vc_column_text]

Lessons for Advanced Surfers

For advanced surfers wanting to really hone their technique. Normally we get the waves from line up, learn how to duck dive, and improve your turn both side. Learn to make some tricks, and for sure always get fun !!!

How It Works

Lessons last until you get tired up to a max of 1.5 hours
Everything you need is included in the lesson price including rental of surfboard (which your instructor will help with) and rash vest, meet at the beach in Canggu area and a free bottle of water at the end
When and where we surf will depend on ocean conditions and when it is high or low tide. We typically teach surfing on Batu Balong beach and Pererenan beach in Canggu.
You can book your class and discuss about the time at least the day before to check the swell and the tide of the waves is good for your levels, because everyday is change. And also you can give us deposit 50% to book the date of your surf class to book the teachers in case are full book ( special on hight session ).
If last munites cancellation, you need to pay 25% cancellation fee for the teachers to spend their time.

One-on-One Surf Lessons

We recommend having a private one-on-one lesson if you are a complete beginner as it will help you to master the basics faster. Also get learn more easy and safe. We also do one-on-one lessons for intermediate and advanced surfers who really want to perfect their surfing technique.

Private surf lessons are 450k IDR per person (-+ 28USD), 5 lessons are 2.000 k IDR per person (-+ 130 USD).

Group Surfing Lessons

We also do surfing lessons for group. For the group can be three people or more. So if they are These person 1.200k IDR ( -+ 70USD) . When you are want pagkage 5 session it is 5.200k IDR (-+ 320 USD) for there people/ 5 sessions.

Children’s Surfing Lessons

Children who are 12 years old and below can have our kids surfing lessons with a one-one-one instructor for kids of all levels. Kids surfing lessons are 450 k IDR (28 USD) per child, and 2.000 k IDR ( -+ 130USD) for 5 lessons.

If you are staying outside of Canggu we can still pick you up for a small charge.

In Sanur / Denpasar area – 350 k IDR (24 USD) / car
If you stay in Nusa Dua/ Jimbaran / Uluwatu / Ubud – 450 k IDR (28USD) / car
